RealT is a relatively new startup working to fractionalize real estate through blockchain with the objective of giving access to the market to everyone, regardless of the size of their investing budget.
As the company’s senior designer, I was in charge of ideating and producing a wide variety of marketing material and leading the process of developing the design vision for the brand.
I worked side by side with the marketing and web development teams to create engaging graphics for the website and the blog.
The most challenging part of the process was always to translate the complexities of the tokenization-through-blockchain process into a visual language that was easily understood by the target audience.
Most of the time that was achieved by careful design, illustration or digital composition. But a few times there was just nothing that could communicate the message as effectively as a photo. In those cases, I was responsible for shooting and editing the required picture.
Another important part of the work was constantly improving the visual design of the main website to improve the user experience in general. These changes, in general, went through multiple stages of sketching, prototyping, and revisions before testing them in the live environment.
